Welcome to ZOOM, a new channel for communication for members of Berdinsarea, a network of Basque municipalities and the Basque coordinating organizations Eudel and Emakunde. Berdinsarea is an initiative to strengthen, co-ordinate, and evaluate programs and services provided by those municipalities to foster gender equality and to prevent violence against women. This aim of this blog is to promote innovation, efficiency and communication in the region´s preparations for the United Nations “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women” on November 25th, 2009.
